The first screenshots of Joost have been release and again stories about the project arise. It's definitely a project that I will follow closely as I think this could be the next big thing and the more I read about the more I like what I read. www.nytimes.com
As the following article reports it didn't become the hot clash between Cisco and Apple we were all hoping for. They just agreed on using both the name 'iPhone'.
Previous post if you didn't catch the story at the beginning.

Joost the P2P television project (see previous posts) of Niklas Zennstrom and Janus Friis (founders of Skype and Kazaa) seem to have their first big partnership. It's one with Viacom's MTV Networks, Paramount Pictures movies studio and BET Networks, Joost users will be able to enjoy everything for free. Said thing is, I applied really quick for a BETA tester account but, mmmmm I still don't have one.

Nokia just launched a web game to promote their new multimedia car kit, it's a very nice and innovating game (all movie based). In-game it blows you away but the only thing is you really have time to get a cup of coffee before it starts and I don't know if everyone has this patience. http://www.the-passenger.com/

Q-Music a Belgian radio station organizes his first Q-Party and it all looks very good, the pity thing for a radio station is that there were some troubles with the live streaming.
The latest Eurostar Campaign is called the Royal Guard Cheese game I very much like the idea, the site is looking really great things I do not really like in the whole concept is the YouTube movie (cause you clearly see it's an actor) and the game it selves a simple version of mastermind is not really innovative. But you can judge for yourself.

After some successful advertising campaigns during the American Super Bowl here are some rules to respect when you want to create a successful campaign based on Consumer Generated Content. The idea of such a campaign for a client is great BUT you have to do it right or your campaign may turn veeeeery sour.

What we saw last week in the CIM Metriweb (official stats organization) site is that the site www.zattevrienden.be has been banned, nobody seems to know why but the story's are surely rising.

I didn't post the last couple of days cause I've been rather busy with one of the most important projects of my life. Since yesterday I became the proud father of a son called Ewan. So here's the first picture of him and his little sister Zoë.
After Ikea now Mc Donalds drives on user generated content, they are both doing
actions where the user has to enter a contest with a movie. Ikea is doing a make up your bed campaign with Shycast http://www.shycast.com/contest/10/view/. Mc Donalds is doing a campaign "It's your break" with YouTube. May the best win, but Mc Donalds has surely the most original prize, ... The front page of YouTube.
