On the fwa theatre I found this great commercial for Getty Center labeled “Heads”.

Strangely enough this is just half the blog post cause on my newly installed Chrome browser it just didn’t want to play, after 2 seconds it just stopped running while it worked perfectly in IE. It seemed as if I found my first real Chrome bug until I began to search for a solution. It actually appeared to be a problem with the flash player and not the browser itself. The solution that I found was to install Flash Player 10 release candidate and uninstall the current version 9. Below you’ll find the steps that I needed to do to complete the job.

1. Uninstall version 9, you’ll find the uninstaller on this page you have to select the “Windows—Plugin-based browsers”

2. Close and restart your browser.

3. Install the flash player 10 from this page, you’ll have to install the “Plugin for Windows”

4. Go to the following page and it should say “You have version 10,0,12,10 installed”

If you’ve followed the 4 previous steps you should be able to enjoy all your favorite YouTube/Dailymotion/… movies again

Today I went to the Volvo site to have a look at their offer and what I found their was for me the ultimate “getting to know” experience. The headline says “Find out about our new conditions in the way you feel most comfortable” and indeed this sentence says it all.

You can have a look at their conditions trough an excel file, a word doc, a YouTube Channel, a Facebook page, … . Any way you want they actually got it. It’s all quite simple but again the experience is just great.

Lego made this movie for the celebration of the 30th anniversary of the Miniman, It’s really nicely done and quite fun to watch. The also created a corresponding action site where you can find all kinds of fun things.

Great video but what's all about the fact that these videos and all the copies seem to disappear form YouTube they all seem to get banned and deleted. Could anybody explain why this kind of things happen with just a fun video??

A new technology in YouTube are video Annotations, Video annotations are a new way for you to add interactive commentary onto your videos!

You control what the annotations say, where they appear on the video, and when they appear and disappear. You can even link from an annotation to another YouTube Video, Channel, or Search result.

The first good commercial use I've seen with video annotations is the new campaign for Samsung called "Follow your Instinct" next to a nice site they created a viral video campaign based on those annotations where depending on the choice you make you go into another direction in the movie.

You'll find the first one below, never the less if you want to use the annotations you'll have to go to YouTube as they don't work when integrated.

In a response to a John McCain video where he compares Barack Obama to a star, the site Slate V imagines a viral video backlash featuring Chris Crocker and I guess we all remember him from the Leave Britney alone video.

Michael Wesh an Assistant Professor of Cultural Anthropology of the Kansas State University did a presentation that focuses on the anthropology, the behavior and the culture that YouTube is enabling. It's also the person that created the video about "Web 2.0 ... linking people" about a year ago. It's just a great video and a must see to understand what every body moves to get on YouTube and how Youtube works.

You saw the post some weeks ago about the Sam The Eagle, I thought it was a campaign for the 4th of July, well not really it's actually a viral campaign to launch their new show called Studio DC on Disney Channel. At the moment the Muppets are launching their viral assault cause at the moment a numerous amount of Muppet characters have their YouTube channel Beaker, The Great Gonzo, Statler & Waldorf, The Swedish Chef and the start Sam The Eagle. It's a nice way to promote such a show, some viral's that  hover around on the net seem to really do the trick as I've seen Sam the Eagle shown up in the Viral Video Chart but also Ode To Joy from Beaker and 1.5 million views in 2 weeks is far from bad.

Damn the BBC is making some good stuff BBC Sport's marketing campaign and titles for the forthcoming Olympic Games are based upon the traditional Chinese folklore 'Journey to the West'... Pretty nice material.

Absolut vodka launched a series of viral commercials starring Kanye west, I like the absolute concept and the commercials are one by one superb at the moment. The first one to tease everyone looks like a trashy commercial for a stupid product the next one is more a clubby moment about the Kanye product.

The idea behind it is that everyone is visionary and that the everyone's idea could be realized in an Absolut world, so they also created an according site which is also really worth a look and you can also look at the uploaded visions on their YouTube channel or visit the blog.

Anyway these vodka brands have always so smashing ideas and concepts.

I found this great commercial from Philips for their Philishave Satinelle. You really got to dare to use the shemale subject in your commercials but I think it turns out really great, congrats Philips.

After the guy that backflips into his jeans we now got the guy that fills his jeans with Helium and flies, whether it's real or not doesn't really matter but I'm sure that in a few days we will see some other guy's that try to do the same a bit like the backflip viral where you saw numerous people trying the same. I really like the home made viral where you actually don't know from who it is and where the brand isn't really everywhere ... great work from Levis.

Buy now we all know it Spain plays the semi finals in the Euro 2008, but some time ago NikeFootball released this viral on the Spanish football team, it's really a great movie on the magnificent five of the Spanish team.

The combination games and real life has been done before by numerous amount of brands but this one is really original it's created for the Anti-Tobacco lobby of Florida.

They also got some rather funny and original tools like the social community tool Qwitter, a great comic book and a tool called Smokifier which shows the harmfully effects of smoking. The least you can say is that they are really committed to make everybody stop smoking.

Normally the only thing I talk about here is e-marketing but this one is about "architecture", in Belgium you can read everywhere about this new building they are going to create in Dubai, namely the first rotating skyscraper, I must be honest virtually it all looks more than impressive now let's hope that in the real world it's all stable and possible.

Some guy's have all the luck I guess, it's a funny story about a guy that made a trip with his palls, did some stupid things before a camera, put the movie on YouTube and from there on the story began for him. Some serious sponsored traveling time sponsored by a gum brand STRIDEgum. What's also behind all that are the marketing/brand visibility result, on his last video he has more than 13 millions of views, 2500 blog posts and 42000 comments I guess that's more than well spend money for STRIDE gum with a project that at first glance has nothing to do with their business or brand.
