For their promotion around the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games Coke launched a new site to unite the east and the west, and interpret ideas and passions that unite us, every experience turns around on of the 8 themes, like Human collaboration, uplifting moments, global harmony, ....
To accomplish this they took 8 artists from the east and 8 musicians from the west and brought everything together.
On one hand you got a design experience where you'll be able to get the bottle specially designed and you can download the wallpaper from the east and on the other hand you got a musical experience where you can not only listen but download the full album from all the musicians that participated to the project. From every artist you can also see a little introduction movie and their description.
And if you want to go one step further you can design your own bottle and submit it.
This site brings a real Coke experience like it should be it's all really nicely designed site, everything runs smooth and the features that you get (like the download of the full album)are more than good, I'm a fan.

I stumbled upon a new site for Axe shower gel called Axe Skin on Skin action, the site looks nice, there are some funny movies (the music is really disturbing).
But the main attraction is the pillow fight, where you can create your avatar and challenge other visitors that come to the site. Everything looked really good till that moment, the problem was I stayed on the site for more than an hour (cause the pillow widget doesn't seem to work) but had no visitor at all or if I had one and challenged him there was no response so I didn't have one fight which was kind of a bummer...

I also had to do more than one trial to subscribe as the system wasn't really stable and even after I subscribed most of the features and possibilities where not even available.
Bottom line for me it was not really a satisfying web experience, I don't know if the site is still in Beta but this definitely doesn't meet Axe campaign standards.

Heineken launched a new site where you can create and order your own designed 6-pack. Everything is nicely designed and the user interface is easy to use so it all looks very neath.
never the less they are for sure not the first once that came up with such a concept. My company created some time ago a Site for the Belgian beer brand Vedett (a well known person translated in English) where you could upload your picture, the members would vote for it and every month the winners received their 6 pack with their image printed upon. It wasn't and isn't as nice as the Heineken site but the whole concept was there. Anyway the site looks really good and the concept is still a great.

For me Lacoste was really a gray, unsexy brand, a strong brand but they didn't invest very much in new things. The following viral and corresponding site changed this view completely. It's all so neatly done, I just love the viral video.
On the site you can do some pretty nice things. things like putting your vision of Tennis in the future on a dynamic wall and it doesn't only put text on the wall it also integrates speech, anyway you'll have to visit to understand.

Yesterday I found on IA the viral video from "The mighty Stavros" and it really cracked me up.
I was immediately teased to go to the site "http://www.theworldismycanvas.com/" and it was definitely from the same level; a site full of integrated video with as star ... of course Stavros.
Actually it's all an action for Nokia's new N82 with a really nice touch.
PS. The MyFace and Interspace ..... sooooo great.

Google launched an attack on one of the core products from Microsoft Office SharePoint, you can read the full story in "The New York Times". Below you'll find a movie explaining the basic product and features or you can immediately visit http://sites.google.com/.

On Buzzing Bees I found this great work from nobody else than North Kingdom, It's a game they created for Coke Zero in Germany "The Coke Zero Game" (could have been more inventive). God knows that after the "Get the Glass" campaign they are really on the top of my list and yet again they score with this game, the only downfall is that it's in German (of course).
The mixture of 3D and movie is really perfect and this all with a good game-play makes this site yet again an award winning one. Even if your German is rusty like mine don't let that stop you from going to the site and experience this marvel (you don't have to inscribe you can just play the different games).

One I found on the The FWA is a presentation of Nikon and the camera's they produce. The work they did there to present the product is really great, it doesn't only look good but it's also extremely well
explained. I like the use of pictures and still have the feeling that you are looking at a movie, it's all well placed and well thought anyway great work and worth a look.

From the guys who did a fight for kisses for Wilkinson (JWT, Wanda and grouek) we get another marvel for KitKat (the snack) with the name "The Ultimate break". It's a animated cartoon that makes me think about Pixar like work. Well you can have a look on their site or below for yourselves and judge.
There are 2 contests on the site, one where you can post your scenario/movie for your ultimate break, which at the moment isn't very successful. On the other contest you can win a trip in space. It's all really nice but what's more important is on this site is that it looks more than great.

Again great stuff on the FWA, the K-Swiss site for Free running shoes are totally in line with their brand and style, the idea to let you type in something and the movies afterwards are really great. It's not the first Time a sports
brand uses Sébastien Foucan's great moves in a spot or an advertising campaing Nike did it a few months before them with this movie. Never the less if you look at this guy's moves, incredible.

It all started when they created the viral video "Uniting Europe through the spirit of dance." now they launched their
according site, the site is nice but what's really makes all the fun are the DJ sets. They got Felix da Housecat, Ferry Corsten and Armand Van Helden with some nice music (if you like the style for sure) and that makes it a must go for me. The only thing that's a pity is that you can download lots of nice things like screen savers or
backgrounds but you can't download the songs and that would make everything really great.

Arne & Carlos is a Norwegian fashion brand that created yet
again (and I mean this in a good) way a full screen adventure to show their collection. The whole setting is really captivating I really like the music and the whole atmosphere around it but still it looked a bit like the Diesel
store we saw some time ago. One thing is for sure now full screen video is at the moment really hot, there are numerous amounts of examples now.
PS. I really like their site I'm not really sure if I like their clothes.

The FWA has again chosen a great site as site of the day, it's for a denim brand called Prospect Denim. I really like the old fashioned style, the music and everything around it just has a nice touch.

Another one from the fwa! I'm a huge fan from everything that roams the oceans; what you can see on this site http://www.whalefootage.org is almost like a mystical experience.
The footage on there is the work from one guy Dieter Paulmann, his experiences where so special that they changed his life and he decided to give all this footage for free. The site brings this footage in such a great way and with the right background music that it almost takes you into the Ocean. The agency behind this marvel is Sholz & Volkmer a German agency.

The FWA again pointed our a great site, it's created for Sean Kennedy Santos a NY based photographer. It's a really "clean" site and it shows his work on such a nice way. My absolute favorite part is absolutely his cinema work the pieces well created, pure ART.
