A quite choking add from Quercus this organization acts by creating awareness about the environment problems that Portugal faces, and by presenting more environmentally friendly options. This campaign wants to point out the dangers of Global Warming, it’s signed McCann Erickson.

Dita Von Teese will launch a new line for the Wonderbra, to promote this line she created a spot where she looks for the sexiness Gen. You can also have a look at the according site where you’ll find more of the new line.
This woman is really hot cause her commercial goes straight into the viral video chart with after a few days 41,856 views and more than 30 blogposts.

A new technology in YouTube are video Annotations, Video annotations are a new way for you to add interactive commentary onto your videos!
You control what the annotations say, where they appear on the video, and when they appear and disappear. You can even link from an annotation to another YouTube Video, Channel, or Search result.
The first good commercial use I've seen with video annotations is the new campaign for Samsung called "Follow your Instinct" next to a nice site they created a viral video campaign based on those annotations where depending on the choice you make you go into another direction in the movie.
You'll find the first one below, never the less if you want to use the annotations you'll have to go to YouTube as they don't work when integrated.

You saw the post some weeks ago about the Sam The Eagle, I thought it was a campaign for the 4th of July, well not really it's actually a viral campaign to launch their new show called Studio DC on Disney Channel. At the moment the Muppets are launching their viral assault cause at the moment a numerous amount of Muppet characters have their YouTube channel Beaker, The Great Gonzo, Statler & Waldorf, The Swedish Chef and the start Sam The Eagle. It's a nice way to promote such a show, some viral's that hover around on the net seem to really do the trick as I've seen Sam the Eagle shown up in the Viral Video Chart but also Ode To Joy from Beaker and 1.5 million views in 2 weeks is far from bad.
Some examples of my favorite chars Statler & Waldorf.

What’s the viral power of the Internet? Well you start with something and all of the sudden hundreds of people are doing the same thing and sometimes it’s what you intended them to do but sometimes it just pops out of nowhere and creates the perfect marketing campaign.
The perfect example viral behavior is the latest commercial from Discovery channel called “I love the whole world”.
I guess when they launched their new commercial nobody would have expected to unleash such a mania on the Internet. Still if you have a look at YouTube you’ll notice that the whole gamers community copied the concept and made it their own going from Halo 3 to the Simpsons to final fantasy and even a gamers compilation (one well worth to have a look at ).
Sometimes is the viral seeding really intended; I guess everybody knows by now the guy that backflips into his jeans, nobody did put a brand on this viral video but it was totally intended as a viral campaign from Levis. Still a good one but it wasn’t just a bunch of guys enjoying themselves it was a well thought marketing concept.
The best way to check viral video campaigns is the http://www.viralvideochart.com/, be sure that if your campaign pops up in here you got a successful campaign.

After the guy that backflips into his jeans we now got the guy that fills his jeans with Helium and flies, whether it's real or not doesn't really matter but I'm sure that in a few days we will see some other guy's that try to do the same a bit like the backflip viral where you saw numerous people trying the same. I really like the home made viral where you actually don't know from who it is and where the brand isn't really everywhere ... great work from Levis.

The combination games and real life has been done before by numerous amount of brands but this one is really original it's created for the Anti-Tobacco lobby of Florida.
They also got some rather funny and original tools like the social community tool Qwitter, a great comic book and a tool called Smokifier which shows the harmfully effects of smoking. The least you can say is that they are really committed to make everybody stop smoking.

Some guy's have all the luck I guess, it's a funny story about a guy that made a trip with his palls, did some stupid things before a camera, put the movie on YouTube and from there on the story began for him. Some serious sponsored traveling time sponsored by a gum brand STRIDEgum. What's also behind all that are the marketing/brand visibility result, on his last video he has more than 13 millions of views, 2500 blog posts and 42000 comments I guess that's more than well spend money for STRIDE gum with a project that at first glance has nothing to do with their business or brand. You can have a look at his adventures on http://www.wherethehellismatt.com/?fbid=BZ72Eq, but first just enjoy this great idea and clips.
His first trip.
His second trip.

Yesterday I received a mail from a nice lady from a digital marketing agency in San Francisco who gave me a hat tip for the new Jawbone (you know the Bluetooth headsets) virals. The agency behind those virals is Anomaly. Jawbone launched a new product range of design headsets with noise reduction, to announce this range they created a set of really provocative, stereotype movies. You can have a look at the site where you'll find the 4 movies but below I included the most impressive one all though they are all 4 definitely worth a look.
Again thanks Ana for the tip.

Found this great viral campaign to warn the Dutch public about the dangers of firework. They could have done a completely boring campaign but instead they did this, just great. You can have a look at the other movies at http://www.laaf.info/.

On the viral video chart I just stumbled upon a great viral for the new Samsung G800 called "How we met".
It's a pity that the site www.zoomintosee.com can't match the viral at the moment, I like the style of the first page but the problem is that the site only consist of 1 page!!!!!

On Adverblog I found this great campaign for BA and although I'm not a huge fan (see one of my previous posts) of this airline I really like this campaign. The viral they created is really long but it's funny and worth to have a look. It's always nice to see a pretty serious company from another side than always trough those boring commercials.

This evening I received a mail from a trainee at Mortierbrigade disturbing some virals for something that will occur on October 15th with Peter Vandeveire on StuBru. Till here nothing special but the way the mail was send totally cracked me up. Next to the sloppiness of the mail I totally loved the way they approached me with the wording (sorry only in Dutch) "Als je verwittigd wil worden kan je inschrijven op youtube Of je kan natuurlijk gewoon youtube checken. Of er gewoon uw kloten aan vegen en dit mailtje nu wissen". Either you love the no bullshit approach or you don't, well anyway I love it and to please the guy here are the different virals.

Yesterday I joined the Wildfire network. Now what's this network all about? For the blogger, you get paid for putting viral video's on your blog. For the announcer it's another channel to push Viral Marketing, in Belgium we got a firm called Adhese that uses the same logic to put banners on your blog. As I was putting these virals anyway on my blog it's for me more about being aware of the latest virals than it is about earning the money. But anyway I'll post a video that has nothing to do with the topic of this blog (An announcement from Discovery channel for a program about Hooligans) because I want to see how everything works.

Saatchi & Saatchi created a campaign to promote the ski resort Valle D’Aosta in Italy. They started the campaign with 2 pretty funny viral movies to promote the site http://www.regione.vda.it/turismo/concorso/. The whole idea behind the campaign is to leave the office and your every day stress behind. The first one is definitely my favorite one although the second one is also pretty funny.

Axe created a new viral for their Vice product, it's funny and totally into the axe style. if you have some time you definitely have to watch it. It's a 5 minute documentary about the "Naughty 2 Nice" penitentiary program where Axe tries to reconvert the Women who became Naughty due to the Axe Vice smell!
