It's really all around today you see it in the newspapers, on blogs, over 215 million search results in Google, you find movies on YouTube, there is a wiki about it, .... Yes it's the launch of Windows Vista and it will be noticed. In Belgium they are launching it in the Atomium (a popular place they launched the new Gilette fusion only a few days ago at the same place). With a lot of billboards, a private island and a streaming concert of Pragha Khan it will also be noticed in (slurl) Second Life. Tonight at 23h00 you will be able to follow the concert on http://www.experiencethewow.be (I guess one of the largest live streams in Belgium). Let's hope it's all worth the fuzz.

The idea is very nice at start you think the execution is also but when it comes to downloads or using your char the execution flaws, really a pity cause it really looks good and the idea is really cool. Some time ago I thought of the same idea for a client of ours but I guess the client didn’t see it fit for his product (his loss).

The spot needs to be buttressed by a panoply of complementary extensions into new media like Web sites, video clips, cellphone text messaging, blogs and short films. In other words, one of the most traditional ways to peddle products, the 3o-second TV spot, is being made relevant again by the explosion in nontraditional media choices.

Interesting new formats for the web development, but what are Microformats?
Designed for humans first and machines second, Microformats are a set of simple, open data formats built upon existing and widely adopted standards. Simply said the hCard or the vCard are the most common Microformats.

On www.nikemashup.com you are able to make your own Nike commercial afterwards you can download it to your cellular phone (only US I guess) or download it on your machine. I very much like the idea of remixing the original spot and technically it's also very smooth to make your own. Funny thing is without seeing the original I had almost the same Idea. Great campaign and great spot….

Ok I don't seem to follow the paste but my life is kind of crazy at the moment with a few weeks (days) away from the birth of my second child and one heck of a deadline for a project It's kind of buzzy but here's a cool thing that I found on Adverblog.
First the movie is cool but not thaaat cool, what's really nice is what follows. It seems to be a live campaign where you can watch and interact with 2 girls that are doing some nasty things with a guy.

Next to the campaign I think the site is also very nice.

The guys from 'The Venice Project' (cofounders of Skype and Kazaa) launched a beta version of their new Peer 2 Peer television called Joost. I really want to check this out cause It seems like something really good. I've posted for an invitation but I'm still waiting so if anybody has one ppppppplease. As these guys did only great things in the past I surely hope they are doing the same now. In this presentation you see how it should look.

My favorite is the second one from eBay.
As we are doing a lot of Email-marketing this article is definitely a very interesting one and we need to take this into account for our next campaigns.

One of my greatest clients sues Apple, who is it well if you didn't hear it yet you’re probably not really aware of what’s going on. It's Cisco, they claim to have registered the name iPhone in 2000 already. Looks like we’ll have a nice and interesting lawsuit ahead.

It's maybe the Geek in me but if you see the following movie you really got to love technology. Just have a look to the complete movie and be IMPRESSED.
The future of User Interfaces
Koppen made a footage about Second Life with 3 bloggers (bnox, ibert and Coolz0r) explaining the whole thing.
I guess every self respecting interactive blogger needs to have a piece about this beast. I’m not really a huge Apple fan but I must say it looks quite impressive.

You can now find on YouTube a movie from Kodak where the company simply laughs with it selves. The question is, did they post it or did someone else post the movie. it seems that it wasn't intended to hit the internet but at the moment simply everybody seems to like it. Is this a marketing stunt or simply a mistake, whatever it is it's a big hit cause it has been played over 120.000 times.

This invention is a nominee for Time best invention of the year so that says a lot, but what does it do??? It's a shirt that can capture and send virtual hugs. How does it work, when you hug the shirt you can send this to someone trough sms this phone captures the sms and sends trough Bluetooth the signals to the shirt. The shirt not only captures the pressure but also the warmth, the duration and the heartbeat. Sorry or the once who are interested you can't buy it yet.

The movies of the canvas campaign for new year and Christmas was very funny and what's also nice to know is that instead of putting their movies on their own streaming server is that they put the movies on YouTube and just made an html wrap around them. Nice integration, very well thought, veeeery funny.
