So my days of laziness and complete family dedication are over for yet another year. But one thing is sure I enjoyed my complete disconnection very much, all though it was a forced one. At the beginning I had some signs of addiction as the first thing I did when I came on location was to search for a wifi connection but luckily enough there wasn't any.
Now I'm eager to start and my batteries are fully loaded to post and to attack some new and interesting projects at work. Anyway here are some snapshots of the family holiday.

Google is inviting Gmail users to imagine how an email message travels around the world and takes a creative video clip.
Google will select the best video clips and edit them together into one final video. The final video will be featured on the Gmail homepage and seen by users worldwide.
Submit your clip here ;-)

* Funny thing why do they use "YouTube" instead of Google Video?

A beautiful day at the seaside turns into a mechanical nightmare when this guy's computer turns on him. Apparently a worlwide golf of "jealous" computers is attacking the world!
For information on the cause and some basic protection rules, you should definitely visit:

For the first time in many years I'll be offline during more than 14 days, I'll be on holiday with my little family in some pueblo called Santa Pola (Spain) in the middle of nowhere. I know for sure that Kenneth my co-blogger will do his best to animate the blog with lots of e-marketing good to know stuff the comming weeks. I guess I'll all greet you in 17 days till than Hasta la vista.
Live Earth is going at the moment it's all quite impressive to see all those concerts going on at the same time. If you got the time at the moment you should really have a look at http://liveearth.msn.com/. Msn created also some really nice backgrounds and winks for the event so just have a look it's all pretty nice.

My colleagues are definitely active in sending me great things so here is another one. The European commission created a clip to promote the European Movie industry but it seems that it's highly controversial due to his Soft Erotic character. One thing that's sure is that controversy sells the little movie has been seen over 2.200.000 times on their special EUTube channel (till now I didn't even know this existed). None of the other clips they professionally produced went over the 250.000 views so I guess they must be really happy, well not really. Some at the European parliament call it immoral, some stupid, some madness but I think they never did such a good job to promote something.

An ex colleague of mine gave me a great link about an overlayer created for the Impossible is nothing campaign from Adidas. This is definitely the best overlayer I have ever seen the interaction with the surfer is just great and you can do whatever you want with it. It runs, jumps and you never see twice the same thing.

When I logged on my messenger this morning I saw an Banner for "Die Hard 4.0", I wanted to click on the banner but instead I saw this.
Onmouseover the banner became bigger and the movie started playing. I don't know if they did this before but I definitely liked it. I also didn't find it too intrusive as at starts you don't hear the sound you have to put it on yourself. Anyway it gives again another creative solution or possibility to use.
