Smirnoff just launched a new site and ditto commercial and it all looks great, the atmosphere is icy and cool completely like the image of the brand. Just have a look at the commercial and afterwards at the site it’s really worth it.

Finally after their pixel action on the old logo (I'm the proud owner of one of the pixels) we finally know what's going on at I-merge they became Boondoggle. Of course the first thing I wanted to know is what is boondoggle ment and the first thing I came across on Wikipedia was that boondoggle was a North American craft which was really strange to me! Later on I found on Digimedia the True explanation of Boondoggle, a boondoggle project is a project that's a waste of time and money. Strange name isn't is but really bold to chose such a name. If somebody could explain the real reason why they chose this name that would be great. I find the way to announce their new name also nice, I did the test and had only 57% so my pronunciation can’t be that good.
PS. Have a look at boondoggle.com and don't forget to select the page, this must really be a strange guy.

Last week we visited with our Cisco client the Duvel brewery, the guy that gave us the tour was really cool and their beer is so good that I just had to post their new commercial on my blog. I also really like the new commercial.

Gsk did an action in Australia to raise the awareness of Asthma, I really like the promotional movie, the style of the site and the games. The only thing is that I don't know if the message comes really trough with such a site?? It's more of a fun site and not really a site where you will become aware of the dangers of the illness. But anyway have fun, I did.

Last week I had my client from the States coming to Belgium so the days where very long and the night's very short cause when the meeting/dinner was done there was some more work waiting and I had to neglect 2 things .... my Kids and Wife (which I made up this weekend) aand my blogging (which I plan to make up the following week). So you know why there were 8 days without postings. Anyway for a good start I found a great commercial from Sprite, a bit like the idea from the commercial of quicksilver but still really nice.

Geert’s project Bring the love back is really successful he just posted his video and already number 7 on the viral video chart with 27 links in one day. I'd say that's really impressive.

In one of my previous posts I talked about a movie project that an ex colleague of mine, Geert Desager, did for Microsoft Digital Advertising Solutions. Now the project has a name and the movie is finished. Bring the love back talks about the lack of communication between the customer and the advertiser. I think the movie captures really well the problem in a funny way, this is really a great job.

HP launched a new commercial with as actor "Princess Fiona" from Shrek, she's following the steps of Jay-Z, Shaun White , Mark Burnett and other personalities. I like the campaign of HP the commercial is nice but not only that, they thought about a mini site and a channel on YouTube http://www.youtube.com/yetube, It's nice to see such a multi channel approach.

On Adverblog I just found a great campaign about Havaianas, this is a brand of Toe slippers. At first glance you’d think that toe slippers are a boring product but what a site and what a nice campaign. Just have a look at the movie.
Once you have done that you can have a look at the promotional site, http://www.feetwantout.com/. I think this is just a great campaign with extremely nice graphics and I'm eager to see what's coming.

Dodge launched a new advergame, the Ram Challenge. I really like the whole dark atmosphere, they even included a trailer to promote the game. So everything seems OK but, I really didn't the game, for me it was very unclear what I needed to do, I just clicked everywhere and hoped it would help. And guess what it did till the 3th challenge there I really stopped as the 10th time it became too boring. So really nice campaign in different levels, at the end they ask your current car situation so that's also integrated and well thought but really a pity about the game itselves, it's unclear and boring, or am I a really bad game player????

What a nice interactive spot from Axe you just got to look, the only thing is the buffering, the movie buffers the whole time but it's definitely worth looking the whole way. I'm just wondering if we will find this spot on the television??
Adidas launched a new site (part of the impossible is nothing campaign) for a viral campaign, it all looks very good again this is really a great campaign.

Are you also fed up by all the movie trailers before the actual movie starts???? Well a company called brandexperiencelab developed an interactive game called crowd control. The whole audience is invited to play a "space invaders" game. Watch the movie you'll see what I mean.
Looks really fun, hopefully it will fly over to Belgium.

I read in a post on the New York Times that Microsoft wants to take over or at least make a partnership with them to counter the overwhelming presence of Google. I guess that can create a Big Bang. the final quote is “Microsoft has better technology. They have innovation. And Yahoo has the customers’ data, the social media and the community.”, we'll see what happens but it all looks promising.

I just saw the commercial for the new Audo R8 it's not only a great looking car but also what a nice commercial it made me think of the Peugeot commercial I previously talked about, the Old/New feeling is really back.
Anyway this time they thought at least about the mini-site, the 3D movie and 360 view are looking really good.
The Canadian authority started a campaign on safe driving, it's one of the most chocking I've ever seen so from my point it's a good one. The according site is 50000victimes.com. You can have a look at the following add and be chocked. http://www.50000victimes.com/index.php?page=accueil&vid_id=1

Weekenddesk does a simple but nice campaign www.bongomoeder.be to promote their box for mother’s day. To win you have to guess which box the children are explaining. As you can see they are using dailymotion to upload their video's.
Found on: http://www.marketinginteractive.beA compilation of the best adds of Budweiser, there are some pretty good once. The first one is underneath it's pretty funny.
7 key rules for a Buzz seeding campaign which I have found on http://www.digimedia.be, sorry it's in Dutch but it are some really good once.
Heineken launched a new campaign Secret Final it's part of the new UEFA Champions League sponsorship. The surfers are invited to launch themselves to a secret location where they can watch the final of the Champions League. Personally I think it's really a stupid campaign, I really don't like it and it's quite boring. But who am I!! If you look at their previous work (ex. the nice Bond Add) I think they can do much better.
Snickers digged up Mr. T for an Television Add, mmm those good old days.
