The first commercial created for the Super Bowl pops up in the viral video chart it's one from Pepsi featuring Justin Timberlake.
As every year Information Architects Japan got their new version out of the web trend map for 2008 (beta version). It's always nice to have a look at it cause it's rather impressive how everything evolves.
You thought you can play football well guess again and have a look at the following footage shot in Mexico, what these guy's do with a ball is really surreal. The video is a viral for the new FiFa street 3 game, you should also check out the site, the way they show those moves is really worth a look.
This morning I got a mail from Chris Abraham with some Information about the actions Firebrand is going to do around the Super Bowl and as I'm a big fan of Firebrand I'm always happy to post their story's. They started their campaign with the viral you'll find below.
Firebrand, the hottest spots from the coolest brands, on TV, web and mobile, will celebrate “the Holiest Day in Advertising,” with the launch of its first national holiday campaign, “The Road to Firebrand Monday.” The multi-million dollar media buy will include spots on cable networks like MTV, G4, Sci Fi and VHI, as well as online video placements on TVGuide.com, YouTube, MySpace and Facebook, among others.
From the guys who did a fight for kisses for Wilkinson (JWT, Wanda and grouek) we get another marvel for KitKat (the snack) with the name "The Ultimate break". It's a animated cartoon that makes me think about Pixar like work. Well you can have a look on their site or below for yourselves and judge.
There are 2 contests on the site, one where you can post your scenario/movie for your ultimate break, which at the moment isn't very successful. On the other contest you can win a trip in space. It's all really nice but what's more important is on this site is that it looks more than great.
After their previous commercial called "The Tipping point", Guinness launched on the first of January a new one called dot, the agency behind it all is BBDO Dublin.
A new add created for the jobsite Monster by BBDO New York and Massmarket.
Found on Buzzing Bees
Again great stuff on the FWA, the K-Swiss site for Free running shoes are totally in line with their brand and style, the idea to let you type in something and the movies afterwards are really great. It's not the first Time a sports brand uses Sébastien Foucan's great moves in a spot or an advertising campaing Nike did it a few months before them with this movie. Never the less if you look at this guy's moves, incredible.
First we got Wikipedia now we got Chickipedia and as a colleage of mine pointed out to me what's next Dickipedia (if you follow the link it looks like they already have the same idea). Anyway they started with a really funny viral.
Previously I thought Mac fans where kind of .... well you know what I mean but now, the following trailer takes this to a whole other level.
Today the first Internet only sitcom was launched in Belgium it's called "2000 Antwerpen", normally we'll have trailer of about 6 minutes today and from Monday on we'll have daily 3 minutes episodes. Apparently the audience will be able to tell where script is going. As a platform to distribute the sitcom they used MyVideo. One sad thing is the quality of the little move, if you compare this to the HD quality / full screen experience of gearbox TV this really stands nowhere. Never the less I'll be watching closely the evolution of everything so let's all watch the next episode on Monday.

I'm writing posts on my blog now for about 15 months and reading a looooooot of other posts as my inspiration source and there is one thing that is really bothering me! Most of the time I read something interesting on a blog and a few hours or days later I find the same things on other blogs and almost never do I read the source of their information, something I always try to remember. It's only fair that you mention the writer of the original information you found. So like I said in the beginning of my post it's about 15 months that I blog and that's not so long, but could anybody tell me if that's common practice in the blogosphere to just take the information you read somewhere, rephrase it and just forget to mention the source of your information????
Most Banners of skyscrapers are really boring but in the following example that I colleague of mine pointed out to me apple proved me completely wrong. The use of the banner and skyscraper combination is really great. I hope the banner will be active to see it but here is the link http://www.nytimes.com/.
When you work in our business killing ideas is a daily reality so that's why I really like these videos.
More from the same, but as great.
It all started when they created the viral video "Uniting Europe through the spirit of dance." now they launched their according site, the site is nice but what's really makes all the fun are the DJ sets. They got Felix da Housecat, Ferry Corsten and Armand Van Helden with some nice music (if you like the style for sure) and that makes it a must go for me. The only thing that's a pity is that you can download lots of nice things like screen savers or backgrounds but you can't download the songs and that would make everything really great.
Yesterday Apple launched their new MacBook Air and a colleague of mine pointed me out to this great commercial.
It's an Unboxing for the MacBook Air.
Next I found this guided tour that took me trough the new features of the MacBook Air. Let's be honest although I'm not really of a Mac fan this next presentation really seems impressive. Much less impressive is the prize cause when you go to the store you immediately notice that these little things are not cheap!
This is the latest viral video from Mozilla to promote Firfox, I'll let you enjoy but know one thing; they are much better in developing browsers than they are in making virals.
Firefox users against boredom.
The winners for the .net awards are known, no not the programming language but the magazine from the UK. In the list I found some interesting stuff. First thing that amazed me was the Viral campaign of the Year; Will it blend. Everybody knows these virals what I didn't know is that with these campaigns there sales got up with 500%, wow what a success story. I'll just add the last one with the Iphone so that everybody knows what we are talking about.
Infamy of the year (yes those awards are not all positive) became MySpace from my side they definitely made a good choice.
Less of a surprise is the best use of Flash it became the site Get The Glass which is as we all know really more than great, it's a real pearl on the Internet.
I'm not going to talk about all of the categories but every one of awards are really well deserved and it's interesting to have an overview over the best that has been produced on the net, last year, worldwide.
I know it has been a while since his last full day at Microsoft but anyway I found this video of his keynote during CES 2008 and I think it's really funny. What I find incredible are all the known people that want to appear in the video.
Arne & Carlos is a Norwegian fashion brand that created yet again (and I mean this in a good) way a full screen adventure to show their collection. The whole setting is really captivating I really like the music and the whole atmosphere around it but still it looked a bit like the Diesel store we saw some time ago. One thing is for sure now full screen video is at the moment really hot, there are numerous amounts of examples now.
PS. I really like their site I'm not really sure if I like their clothes.
Great movie that shows how 3 graphic designers created D-Day with no budget at all. I'm a fan of these movies and it's really great to show exactly how it all works or how you can make it work in a really easy way. It has all been created for a TV program for the BBC with Richard Hammond.
The FWA has again chosen a great site as site of the day, it's for a denim brand called Prospect Denim. I really like the old fashioned style, the music and everything around it just has a nice touch.

The VRT our public TV channel launched today their new look. On TV everything looked really great and they got different looks depending on the time of the day; but online, well that's a whole different story. They launched a site called www.deredactie.be. I don't know who did the design of the site but it's reaaaly bad, not only is the design bad but you don't find what you need and everything is so slow it's incredible.
So you didn't have to wait very long to find all kinds of reactions on different Belgian blogs. They even created a site (www.de-red-actie.be) that will show us shortly (or I hope so) how to do this better. A great post I found with some superb banners is this one.
Anyway let's see what's going to happen with the site but my first guess is not really much.
Orangina launched an new advertising campaign in France to promote their drink, first of all they created a great commercial and they created a corresponding superb site they created all kinds of downloads from MSN emoticons, Myspace skins, Winamp skins, background even screenmates. They really did a great job!
After a big Blog holiday (except 1 Tagora post) I needed a fresh start and some interesting sites or projects to talk about and after 2 weeks of no blogging and no reading you really find some new nice stuff on the net so here we go.
First thing some commercials really worth wile to have a look at.
First one I found on Illegal Advertising (like so many other movies) is a campaign for lifejackets made in New Zealand.
I just remembers why I didn't really like going to the Gym.
Lets start with some big news, the word is out, the WPP group bought a 75 pct stake in Tagora, the agency where I work. I'll give some more information as soon as I can grasp the details but at the moment that's all I can give, so watch my blog to know about the details.
